Siemens appoints new business manager for renewable energy

Siemens Limited has appointed Mr. Kevin Moloney as business manager for renewable energy for Siemens’ Energy Sector. Kevin’s appointment reflects the growing market for renewable energy products and solutions in Ireland. Kevin holds an MBA in International Business from the Centre des Etudes et Recherche et Applications Management (CERAM Sophia Antipolis {F}) and is a graduate of the Waterford Institute of Technology. He holds numerous industry qualifications across engineering and projects.

Kevin has spent over 15 years working in utilities industries, leading the development of new services, products and markets in energy and telecoms. Prior to joining Siemens, Kevin worked with PA Consulting Group as principal consultant with responsibility for developing their Irish energy and utilities portfolio for four years.

Siemens is a global electronics and engineering company providing products, systems, services and solutions for the industry, energy and healthcare sectors. Siemens Energy Sector is the world’s leading supplier of solutions for the generation, transmission and distribution of power. The company employs around 1,000 highly skilled people in Ireland and has offices in Dublin and Cork.
