Manager, Zettlex.

Mark Howard of Zettlex commented: “We are enjoying a boom from USA, Germany, India, Turkey and China and this has meant that we simply had to create more production capacity to keep pace with demand. This year exports will account for 50% of our business and next year this is likely to increase to about 75%.”

Andrew Lansley CBE MP for South Cambridgeshire commented: "This area has a proud history of high-tech innovation and it's good to see a young company growing, prospering, generating jobs and exporting products from South Cambridgeshire to the rest of the world."

The new production facility, which is located adjacent to Zettlex’s existing technology labs in Newton, increases the company’s production space by 7,000 square feet. Zettlex has also recruited additional production and engineering staff to help meet this increased demand for the company’s IncOder range of precision sensors. IncOders are ideally suited to operating in harsh environments where electrical contacts, optical encoders or capacitive devices are unreliable. The IncOder range now includes more than 500,000 product variants which are used in a wide variety of applications in the medical, defence, aerospace, motor sport, automation, oil & gas sectors.
