Ashling Microsystems has recently announced a new range of tools for NXPSmartCard SmartMX (P5) and SmartMX2 (P60) families. Developed in close co-operation with NXP, the tools include the Ashling SmartICE hardware emulator, Ashling PathFinder source-level debugger and Keil uVision4 plug-in driver.
Commenting on the product release, Hugh O'Keeffe, Engineering Director of Ashling Microsystems, Ltd. said "The new SmartICE platform advances the state-of-the-art for SmartCard development tools and allows effective real-time debugging, program-execution analysis, optimisation and validation of applications running on NXP SmartCard platforms at a very competitive price"
Reinhard Keil, Director of MCU Tools at ARM adds "The Ashling SmartICE extends Keil PK51 to a complete solution for target debugging on the SmartMX hardware. SmartICE is fully integrated into the µVision Debugger and gives PK51 users powerful capabilities for program test and verification."
