Linear luminaires for hazardous areas.

The robust ECOLUX linear luminaires 6010 and 6610 from R. Stahl cast light on hazardous-area applications in harsh industrial environments, on production platforms and aboard ships all over the world.
They are designed for use with two 18 W or 36 W fluorescent lamps. They are available with housings made of powder-coated sheet steel, SS304 corrosion-free stainless steel or highly resistant SS316L stainless steel for marine applications. The luminaires are versatile with fixing points for mounting on walls or ceilings. Quick-release covers ensure a user-friendly handling and minimise wear on the seals. For ease of installation and maintenance, the ballast and lamp holder of the 8.5 kg luminaires are directly attached to the reflective sheet, which can be removed without tools. The devices achieve a high luminaire efficiency of more than 70 lm/W. A built-in diffuser and special plastic lens ensure that glare is minimised. The luminaires provide up to IP65 ingress protection depending on the type of installation and are suitable for use with ambient temperatures between -20 °C and + 60 °C.

The linear luminaires have an extensive track record as long-lasting, extremely reliable solutions for general lighting purposes as well as for group or centrally supplied emergency light installations in chemical and petrochemical plants, steel mills and power plants, pharmaceutical factories, distilleries, food and beverage industry plants and, of course, in marine applications. The luminaires are certified according to ATEX, IECEx and PESO (India) for use in zones 1, 21 and 2, 22 (ECOLUX 6010) or 2, 21 and 22 (ECOLUX 6610). For use outside of hazardous zones, R. STAHL provides L610 series luminaires.
