Precision power supplies offer wider programmability

Aim-TTi has revised their QL series high precision laboratory power supplies to add new features and extra models. The QL Series II incorporates new functions, higher output power, and enhanced bus interfacing.

The new PSUs retain the true linear regulation of their predecessors and offer extremely low noise of less than 350 microvolts. Output power is up to 112 watts per output and includes a dual range capability which provides higher current capability at lower voltages.

Setting memories have been extended enabling quicker recall of stored sequences, and operating security has been enhanced by adding keypad locking. All QL-P models now incorporate a LAN (Ethernet) interface in addition to USB, RS232 and GPIB. The interface is fully conformant with LXI (LAN eXtensions for Instrumentation).

Triple output models now have fully variable voltage on the auxiliary output with an increased current capability of 3 amps. Voltage can be set between 1V and 6V with a resolution of 0.01V and voltage and current can be viewed at the touch of a button. QL-TP models have extended bus control of the auxiliary output including programmable voltage and read-back of voltage and current.

The QL Series II incorporates eight models with one or three outputs and power ranging from 105 watts up to 242 watts.
