A first in European Test & Measurement market!

Microlease is celebrating the launch of Keysight Technologies, Inc., formerly Agilent’s Electronic Measurement Business. Microlease, whose global headquarters are in Britain, became the first partner to do business with Keysight in Europe by placing an order for new products for its inventory.

Microlease has had a long-standing relationship with Agilent Technologies, dating back to when its electronic measurement group operated under Hewlett Packard. Microlease placed the first order with Agilent in Europe when the company separated from Hewlett Packard in 1999.

• Effective 1 August 2014, Keysight Technologies, Inc. is operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Agilent Technologies, Inc. until the formal separation expected in early November 2014.

Achievement recognises outstanding sales of Agilent bench and hand-held test & measurement products throughout 2010

RS Components (trading brand of Electrocomponents plc), has received the 2010 Distribution Excellence award for EMEA from Agilent Technologies. This annual award reflects the outstanding sales performance achieved by RS on Agilent products in the last 12 months and was presented during their EMEA distribution conference in Barcelona (ES).

Announcing the award Benoit Neel, VP Sales and General Manager, EMEA region for Agilent said: "2010 provided an interesting sales environment as the markets rebounded from the downturn of the previous year. Throughout the year RS has made a huge impact in helping Agilent to grow market reach and customer numbers across the EMEA region. Our congratulations go to the whole team."
