Simple, cost-effective thermal machine vision solution built for the factory floor

For users of Teledyne FLIR fixed thermal camera solutions such as the FLIR A38/A68, the GEVA 400 iNspect package offered by Teledyne DALSA is a simple and affordable solution. It is pre-loaded with iNspect software (now with 16-bit camera support) that connects to GigE-based FLIR thermal camera platforms including the FLIR A70, FLIR A400/A700, and FLIR A38/A68. This package is customizable for various thermal imaging-based machine vision applications and can be used for a wide range of manufacturing tasks.

In manufacturing, thermal imaging is sometimes the only effective and accurate way to control process and quality because it's non-invasive and non-destructive. iNspect simplifies the design and deployment of automated thermal inspection systems for manufacturers.

Built specifically for the factory floor, iNspect offers a suite of easy-to-use inspection tools which can be used straight out of the box to put machine vision to work on a huge range of manufacturing tasks, including:

• Hot glue inspection
• Heat sealing & packaging inspection
• Thermal flow control and fill control
• Object counting and shape verification
• Critical asset monitoring

Add intelligence to thermal machine vision applications straight out of the box iNspect software offers new and experienced users alike a practical tool with uncompromising functionality. Each inspection tool has been carefully designed to extract the relevant information from the object image. And the simple, straightforward setup allows users to quickly configure and deploy an application without programming experience or extensive training.

Four Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) compliant Gigabit camera ports in GEVA-400 enable the addition of Teledyne FLIR thermal imaging cameras to support larger configurations, while the pre-loaded iNspect Express vision application software and included perpetual license help reduce overall system costs.
