Labeling appointment for EMEA.

TSC Printronix Auto ID promotes media specialist to EMEA to boost awareness of its consumables capabilities

Neil Baker
Matching labels and other media to the demands of industry applications is something Neil Baker has been doing for over 20 years. His recent promotion as TSC Printronix Auto ID’s EMEA Product Manager Consumables will see him sharing that knowledge wider, on both specific media projects and with thermal printing hardware sales.

Neil has been working for TSC Printronix Auto ID since 2017, managing sales in Britain, Ireland, South Africa and BeNeLux. His familiarity with the company’s printing hardware, combined with some 20+ years’ global sales experience in the labelling and auto id industry, make him ideally placed to grow the consumables division and increase its profitability across the whole of EMEA. He’ll not only be overseeing existing supplier relationships but will also be building supplier infrastructures where none exist within the region.

“It’s rewarding to be given this new responsibility within the company. Over the years I’ve acquired a real understanding of label materials and advising customers on the best media for their specific applications. It gives them peace of mind to know that the media, especially RFID tags, have been tested and verified by us to ensure they’ll work at optimum efficiency. We’re adding to our portfolio of supplies all the time, including more sustainable solutions, so it’s a very exciting time for me to be going out to a wider market to identify consumables opportunities for both the TSC and Printronix Auto ID brands,” says Neil.

Amine Soubai, Managing Director TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH described the promotion as further evidence of the company’s goal of improving its solutions. “Neil has already proved his sales acumen and we’re delighted to see him take the next step and grow our consumables division and own the supplier relationship to vendors into TSC Printronix Auto ID.”
