Motors and drives.

The International Society of Automation (ISA) has published a second edition of Motors & Drives: A Practical Technology Guide.

A practical guide developed by 30+ year industry veteran Dave Polka. This is an invaluable resource for design engineers, automation and control specialists, maintenance technicians, and students.A thorough discussion of drive systems and components, common motion control applications, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
