Omron Electronic Components Europe has been named Electro-Mechanical Supplier of the Year for the third time by the French association of electronic component distributors, SPDEI (Syndicat Professionel de la distribution en Electronique Industrielle).

The SPDEI, which represents 23 franchised French distributors of electronic components, annually recognises suppliers across the industry for exceptional involvement with distribution, including close business relationships and high standards of design in and logistical support.

Commenting Hafeez Najumudeen, European Distribution Manager at Omron said, “Omron views its distributors as key partners. The SPDEI’s distinguished Electro-Mechanical Supplier of the Year Award is therefore a very significant accolade for us. It is a testament to the very strong and committed two-way relationships we enjoy with our channel in France and in Europe.”

The 23rd Trophées du SPDEI ceremony took place in Paris and was attended by more than 100 industry professionals from component suppliers, distributors and customers.
