Report enhances connectivity!

Ocean Data Systems (ODS) has announced the release of Dream Report version 4.7. The three themes of this release include market expansion, on-line ad-hoc data analysis and overall enhanced productivity.

This release expands markets in two ways. First, it expands connectivity to partner products, specifically in this release, those of Schneider Electric, GE, Yokogawa and the market as a whole through standards like the OPC Foundation – OPC UA. Additionally, Dream Report now offers Statistical Process Control (SPC) functions. These enhancements greatly increase the available market for Dream Report.

While Dream Report is an exceptional document generation product, this release enhances its HTML5 based Web Portal with ad hoc analysis; drill down reports, raw data displays and exports. This benefits users with the ability to select data and analyze it quickly and easily, getting to root causes and corrections.

Finally, a number of enhancements deliver productivity gains for all users. These include data selection through data models and user developed tag organization, and additional objects and actions to speed Web access to results.

“Dream Report is a fast moving product,” says Roy Kok, VP Sales and Marketing of Ocean Data Systems. “Connectivity is a clear differentiator in our product. We work closely with our partners to ensure that we have the best possible connectivity to their products. This release is an excellent example of that, with our enhanced GE – Historian, Plant Apps; Schneider Electric – Citect and Citect Historian; and Yokogawa Paperless Recorder connectivity. Dream Report is the logical choice for these and dozens of other products to which we offer connectivity.”
