Since the beginning of January, all Baumer GigE Vision and USB3 Vision cameras have come with the newly released version 2.2 of Baumer GAPI software development kit (SDK).

Thanks to end-to-end compliance with the GenICam standard, the high-performance programming interface enables easy implementation of Baumer cameras into diverse applications. In addition, the new improvement allows integration into application-specific environments. As another new feature, the cameras now support USB3 Vision standard. The further enhanced Camera Explorer is intuitive to operate, delivers the first picture with just one click and allows for easy camera evaluation. Numerous sample programs and documentation support camera integration.

Baumer GAPI version 2.2 supports the C++ and C# programming languages under Windows or Linux and can be used with all Baumer GigE and USB cameras.
