Ireland & Britain distributorship recognised!

Wonderware United Kingdom and Ireland, a division of SolutionsPT, has been awarded the Distinguished Distributor Award for Technical Support by Invensys at its annual EMEA Connect Conference in Bratislava (SK).

The award is given in recognition of outstanding levels of technical support provided throughout the year. In particular, the team was praised by Invensys for its excellent work in case management, open communication principles and improved customer relationship processes, and acknowledged as leading the way for other distributors to follow.

David Baskett, Technical Support Manager, for Wonderware United Kingdom and Ireland, said: “We have worked hard over the last 12 months to improve all aspects of our technical support. Solidifying communication links with the Invensys EMEA team has resulted in good working relationships between engineers and the management team. We have very clear processes and escalation routes in place between Wonderware UK and Ireland, and Invensys EMEA and have encouraged feedback to help us enhance the level of support we offer and to improve response times.

“We feel really honoured to receive this award and that all our efforts to provide a more effective, user-friendly and simplified service to our customers, have been recognised.”

And the technical support efforts of the Wonderware team have also been recognised by clients too. Nigel Bailey, Control and Automation Team Leader at Perenco UK Ltd, said: “Over the last few years Wonderware Technical Support has provided an extremely robust, reliable and ultimately effective Support Service for BP (now Perenco) North Sea Gas Assets. This has covered many systems such as Wonderware InTouch, Historian, System Platform, 3rd Party I/O Servers and more recently Stratus and Advantech. The team’s relentless drive, commitment to understand the issue, root cause and resolve exceeds that of many automation vendors we deal with."
