New European logistics centre
The opening of a new logistics centre at its Puchheim, Germany headquarters during 2009 allowed STEMMER IMAGING to greatly expand its facilities and provide customers with an even better level of service.
The new enlarged warehouse facilities occupy about 700 m2 and provide a much improved infrastructure, serving as the new hub for deliveries to customers in Germany, Britain, France and Switzerland. The order administration and hardware integration departments have also moved into these new facilities. The space released by these moves has now been converted into a new customer service area where regular training sessions will be held on different aspects of imaging.
During the official opening, Managing Director and company founder, Wilhelm Stemmer, stated that he was looking forward to the greatly improved levels of service that these new facilities will provide for customers. He was also keen to emphasize his pride that, even in these difficult economic times, all Stemmer Imaging employees and therefore the extensive knowledge they represent, had been retained in order to serve their customers. From this base he believes the company is well prepared for the future.
