Silicon Designs has announced the appointment of the Istanbul-based Elektro Elektronik San Ve Tic As (Elektro) as its exclusive authorized distributor in Turkey for all of the company’s product lines (MEMS capacitive accelerometers and chips) effective June 2020.

Since 1979, Elektro has been supplying semiconductor, passive, and electromechanical components, including sensors, switches, and inertial measurement units, to aerospace, OEM, and industrial equipment customers in Turkey, and via its role as experienced technical sales representatives for some of the industry’s top manufacturers. In addition, Elektro is both an ISO 9001 and TRACE certified manufacturer of its own product technologies.
