Multiple awards at China show

ProducTVity Station and Crimson Software recognised by leading Asian technology and automation publications

Red Lion Controls has announced that its ready-to-deploy visual management solution, the ProducTVity Station™, has been recognized by CA168, a group of leading Asian technology and automation publications, as the Most Competitive Product at the 2012 Industrial Automation Show (IAS) in Shanghai.

Additionally, Control Engineering China, a leading Asian technology publication, has named Red Lion’s ProducTVity Station and Crimson 3.0 software as Editor’s Choice Award winners for 2012. The awards were presented during ceremonies in Shanghai last week.

“Many great features set Red Lion’s ProducTVity Station and Crimson software apart from other solutions on the market today,” said Mr. Youlong Lou, technical director at Bosch Power Tools China co., Ltd. “For instance, the solution gives us the flexibility required to quickly make changes in real time – even when controlled remotely.”

Editor’s Choice Award winners are selected by a panel of Control Engineering China’s senior editors and local automation industry experts. Winners are decided based on overall excellence in the two key areas: technical innovation and the market influence of the product.

“Winning these awards speaks to Red Lion’s integrity and commitment to delivering industrial solutions that help increase productivity,” said Michael Wang, general manager of Greater China for Red Lion. “We are honoured to provide innovative technology and responsive service to our customers worldwide.”

The ProducTVity Station is a ready-to-deploy visual management system that displays real-time KPI data and Andon messages on large televisions to drive productivity. Crimson software, with over 250 communication drivers and a built-in graphics library, provides a powerful programming environment for Red Lion devices.
